xbox big day out
hey everybody

only 5 working weeks of the season to go! last week was a blast as we had a booked out chalet, with 16 RAF guys n gels in - mixed age group but all top peeps, really appreciative and the week was a breeze - we also got the best weather of the season so far, which does mean that the piste is not in top notch condition any more, but temperatures were balmy and barmy - up to 18C in resort (slightly less on the hill) meant it was proper hoodie n t-shirt boarding weather

this week we have only 10 people in, including 3 kids, so only 7 (!) plus us to serve dinner for - we're out between 10 and 10.30 everyday so far - however the weather has turned again - temperatures are around freezin, zero degrees, including at night, which isn't too great for the slopes - it's actually rained today, which is promising if temperatures drop again, which i'm sure they will

i won something at the Pacific raffle again! Emma (barmaid) supplied me with about thirty tickets so I could win her the skis (she'd supplied me with tickets when I won mine, so its only fair) altho i would've kept the snowboard - instead, after RadioWill drew about 10 dud tickets from the bucket, he drew mine, winning me a Pacific hoodie, and about 18 seconds of toffee vodka layback - bonus!

we're definitely out here until 5th may at the earliest - all the cacholet chalets (6) bar one are almost fully booked, so looks like they'll close du berger for the last week (25th april) and we'll be chalet support for a week whilst closing down - and then what's next? who knows..? no seriously, anybody know? plans afoot..

will be in touch asap, enjoy the photos
